How do I make an appointment?
To make a tattoo appointment please contact the studio on 07 5554 6530 or complete our inquiry form and we will be in contact shortly. We are also open 6 days a week from 11:00am to 6:00pm Wednesday to Monday and would love to discuss you tattoo ideas in the studio. All appointments require a $100.00 deposit. This deposit is non refundable and requires 48 hours notice if you need two reschedule your appointment.
Do you do fine line tattoos?
We do, we are lucky to have very experienced artists at Alfred street tattoo that are very well versed in fine line tattoos.
How much do you charge?
Our prices are per tattoo and based on the size, design and placement on the body. Full day and half day rates for ongoing larger work is offered please contact the studio for an estimate. Our minimum charge is $100.00.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, all deposits are non refundable or transferable, we require 48 hours notice if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.
Do you accept walk ins, same day appointments?
Yes walk ins are always welcomes assuming there is an artist available. While we try to accommodate walk ins we are a busy shop and do get booked out quickly. the only way to guarantee an appointment is to arrange one ahead of time.
Can I swim/go to the beach after I get my tattoo?
No, we recommend letting your tattoo heal before soaking it or exposing it to direct sun light.
Can I use numbing cream?
We ask that you do not use numbing cream without the consent of your artist. Using numbing creams can affect the tattoo process and it is common for the cream or gel to temporarily alter the texture and integrity of your skin, it can also effect how your tattoo will heal. Our artists reserve the right to refuse to tattoo anyone that has applied numbing cream.
I’m 17 years old, can i get a tattoo with my parents consent?
No. It is against Queensland law to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Current photo identification is required for all tattoo appointments.
How do I care for my new tattoo?
Leave your second skin dressing on for 5 days or as recommended by your artist. Remove your second skin dressing in the shower and wash your new tattoo with body wash, after washing your new tattoo you can apply a thing layer of moisturiser to help combat any dry skin or itchiness

What can I do to prepare for my new tattoo?
A full nights sleep, stay hydrated and please eat before arriving at your appointment. We can not tattoo sun burnt skin so stay out of the sun prior to your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing allowing access to the area you are getting tattooed.
